It’s About The Special Moments

We’re used to weddings being celebrated with cake, but when we heard the story of James & Kelly adding pies to their holy matrimony, we knew they were destined for a lifetime of happiness. The ceremony took place in September at the Sea Cliffs on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The stunning views made for an unforgettable destination wedding overlooking the water, and the ceremony was as beautiful as the scenery. Their guests were in for another pleasant surprise because after the photo shoot, the new couple dashed off to Betty’s Pies to pick up their wedding day dessert! It was such a fun wedding for all the family & guests, capped off with a sweet start to the joyous union. James & Kelly are such a happy and beautiful couple and we wish them all the best.

Fun Fact:  An interesting bit of history about our founder, Betty Lessard, is that she was a wedding photographer for 10 years before becoming famous for her pies. She studied at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Salt Lake City, Utah back in 1943, returning to the North Shore after graduation. Lucky for us, she preferred baking delicious pies over making pictures.

You can pick up some of our famous Betty’s Pies souvenirs as a gift for that special someone…or yourself!  And remember, we can cater your wedding!

We sincerely hope you have an incredible fall season with your family, and we look forward to seeing and serving you soon!
